Notification

Description

Notification jobs can be configured for loggers or individual sensors. If no data is received in a configurable interval or threshold values are exceeded, warnings can be sent by mail.

Notification types

No data

The notification recipients are informed if no interpretable measured values were received within the last interval.

Maximum

The notification recipients are informed if within the last interval measured values have exceeded a configurable threshold.

Minimum

The notification recipients are informed if within the last interval measured values have fallen below a configurable threshold value.

Maxdelta

The notification recipients are informed if the difference of two consecutive measured values within the last interval has exceeded a configurable threshold.

Mindelta

The notification recipients are informed if the difference of two successive measured values within the last interval has fallen below a configurable threshold.

Sensor selection

For the type no data a specific sensor can be selected optionally. For all other types, the specification of a specific sensor is mandatory.

Threshold value specification

For all notification types except no data, a decimal threshold value must be specified.

Data level

The check is applied to specific data levels:

Level 1:

  • Data determined automatically from raw data
  • Measured values are linked to metadata from the sensor configuration

Level 2:

  • Measured values linked to quality characteristics
  • Quality characteristics were assigned automatically or manually

Level 3:

  • Data based on Level-2 measurement values linked to quality flag "OK"
  • The type of recording (manual/automated) does not matter

Interval

The "Interval" field specifies how often the check should be performed. The interval is specified in hours. The smallest value is one hour. Depending on the workload of the systems, a check within the selected interval is not always possible. In case of a delayed check, all records since the last successful execution will be processed nevertheless.

Recipient

The "Recipient" field is used to select mail addresses for notification. It is sufficient to enter a part of the name of the desired recipient into the field. After a short loading time, matching hits are displayed in a list and can be selected by keyboard navigation or by a mouse click. Several recipients can be assigned to one notification order.

Only recipients registered by UFZ access can be selected. This includes all employees as well as guest and external accesses.
