Working at the RDM team at UFZ¶
Biodiversity, functioning ecosystems, clean water and intact soils all make up our natural resource base. In the face of global change, employees at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research – UFZ are united by the goal of demonstrating ways to combine societal development with a healthy environment (see here for a detailed explanation of vision and mission of UFZ).
The RDM team at UFZ shares the overall vision of the UFZ. We value the principles of open science. We develop our software (e.g. SaQC, spatial.IO, time.IO) agile and publish source code under open source licenses. We offer our services to UFZ, the Helmholtz Association and beyond to enable science and increase digital souvereignity. Take a look into the website of our Research Data Management team to learn about the role we play in the vision of UFZ.
You can find additional information on how the work at UFZ is like on our website 'the UFZ as employer' including current events, news and more.
