3. Search Function¶
The scatalog’s search function will be reached by either using the search box on the starting page (→1) or via clicking the header button. Here you see preview boxes of the records corresponding to your search input (→3). Those can be filtered using various criteria (left sidebar, →3.3) respectively sort by several factors (drop-down selection on the right, →3.4)
3.1 Simple Search¶
The search box on the starting page resp. in the upper part of the search function (→3) is offering a simple full-text search. All authorised records will be searched by the entered keywords.
3.2 Advanced Search¶
The advanced search can be opened via the settings symbol („three dots“) on the right side of the quick search box (→3). There you find the following advanced options of browsing the catalog given in the table below.

3.3 Filtering of Search Results¶
Seeing the search results there are several filter options via the left sidebar(→3; only options existing in the search results are shown here):

3.4 Sorting Search Results¶
Moreover search results can be sorted by the following criteria using the drop-down menu (upper right side of the result page):
- Relevancy: Extent of accordance with query terms
- Modified: Most recently edited records shown first
- Title: Sort records alphabetically by title
- Rating: Best rated records shown first
- Popularity: Most popular records shown first
- Low / High scale first: Smallest / largest scale records shown first
