WOMBAT – A platform for web applications¶
WOMBAT is a modular architecture based on Kubernetes designed to run web applications. Each application in WOMBAT has an own, enclosed runtime environment. As a result, users have a great deal of flexibility in choosing the programming language, frameworks, and libraries. Additionally, distinct apps are separated from one another to allow for maintenance or additional development without compromising other applications. Standardized web interfaces like "REST" enables to achieve interoperability across the various apps.

Please submit a request for your application – the Research Data Management team at UFZ will decide on the deployment based on this information. If your request is approved, you will need to complete further preparations at the technical level.
