Data upload, proofreading and release of the data¶
To ensure the security of the research data, the data transfer takes place in a specially protected upload space. A link for the data upload is generated for each data transfer and sent via the ticket system of PANGAEA (login required).
The data itself does not end up in the ticket system, but in a specially protected area. You can find an example of a data set that is already available here:
The curation of the dataset always ends with the proofread and the release by the data provider. Only then is the DOI finally registered.
