Training and Development¶
We offer regular training courses on the basics of research data management and services/products. You can find more information about upcoming topics and information on our RDM training page.

Policy and Regulations, Legal Situation¶
Our RDM policy and to some extend the Rules for Safeguarding Good Scientific Practice at the UFZ (de: Gute wissenschaftliche Praxis; en: Good scientific practice) provide guidance on the responsible handling of research data. We recommend that you clarify right at the beginning how data and software are usually published and released in your department or project.

Access to RDM Systems and Tools¶
RDM provides access to a range of systems and tools, e.g. a dedicated portal for scientific data management, for sensor- and laboratory management and a geodata infrastructure. A complete overview of all available services can be found in our RDM guidelines.
Further, you can also explore the Helmholtz Federated IT Services (HIFIS) for collaborative working and services beyond the UFZ.
